The Forest City Warriors got a superb performance from third baseman Jim MacRach. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Alloway. The Halberds won the game, 5-4. In spite of the loss, MacRach was named the player of the game. He was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Alloway, at 38-36, occupies 6th place in the Silver AAA.

Alloway grabbed control in the top of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Duff Eckstein delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 5-4 in favor of the Halberds.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Forest City manager Ramón Pantoja. "But we decided not to take it."
