Halberds Clip Men in Tight Contest
The Florida Men got a superb performance from left fielder Jim Halpert, but the Alloway Halberds still won the game, 5-4. Halpert was named the player of the game despite the loss. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. At 36-36, the Halberds are currently 6th in the Silver AAA.

Nikolai Volkoff was the walk-off hero for Alloway. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Halberds first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This place was rockin'," said Volkoff.
