Scranton pitcher Artie Best gave the Halberds all they could handle, but in the end, Alloway left Ballpark of Alloway with a 2-1 win. Best allowed 2 earned runs on 5 hits over 7 innings. Alloway reliever Sterling Wheeler got the win, raising his record to 3-1. Artie Best was tagged with the loss. Chun-yeong Byung-Ho converted his 16th save in 19 tries.

Alloway took a 2-1 lead on Seung-min Sin's 5th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Sin hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Scranton pitcher Artie Best shaking his head.
