The Tortolita Drummers turned back the Alloway Halberds, 5-4, at Drummers Ballpark. Ken Moore was named player of the game for his fine performance. He went 1-2 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Tortolita reliever Jerry Magee picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Carlos Simon shouldered the loss. Nam Yee Yong earned the save, his 6th.

Tomás Costello contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With a runner on 1st, he hit a double. It was one at-bat that propelled Tortolita to the win.

"We found a way to get it done," Moore said.

Tortolita is 5th in the Silver AAA with a record of 31-29.
