Drummers Ballpark was the site for USSL Triple A action featuring the Tortolita Drummers and Alloway Halberds.

Alloway used a superb performance from starting pitcher Ramón Flores to down the Tortolita Drummers, 4-1. Flores went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 3, and struck out 1. His record improves to 5-4.

In the top of the first, Myron Rosenbalm ambushed a 2-1 changeup from Scott Thompson and hit a 2-run home run. It gave Alloway a quick 2-0 lead.

"Enjoyed this one," Flores told the Alloway Chronicle. "But it's back to work tomorrow."

The 6th-place Halberds have won 4 straight.
