Vermont catcher Jeremy Pollock was instrumental in his team's 8-0 win over the Sunset District Fog. Pollock went 3-4 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Lake Monsters. Vermont reliever Santiago Pérez picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Sung-jae Man shouldered the loss. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Vermont.

With Vermont leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Pollock hit a fastball from Sung-jae Man for a 2-run home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Lake Monsters ahead, 3-0.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Vermont manager Juan Rodríguez.
