Patriots Win 3-2 Walk-Off

The Boston Patriots topped the Las Vegas Flamingos, 3-2, in United States Premier League action at Dunkin Donuts Park. The player of the game was Boston pitcher and Blackfoot, Idaho native Firpo Marberry. Boston reliever Leo Ingelbrigtsen got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Morris Prinkey was tagged with the loss. Boston leads the Premier League by 4½ games.
The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Brevyn Spann-Ford came to bat in the bottom of the tenth. Facing Las Vegas pitcher Morris Prinkey, he hit a first pitch fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Boston on top, 3-2.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Marberry, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
