It seemed that Florida right fielder Walke Mehoff could do no wrong as the Men KO'd the Dodos, 19-3 today. Mehoff rapped out 5 hits in 7 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Dodos hurlers were throwing.

"I think the Men were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Hialeah fan after the game.

"I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Mehoff in the postgame press interview.

Walke Mehoff singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, grounded out in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Kenneth Ferrell in the 9th.

In 2040 Mehoff has hit at a .348 clip with 23 hits, 4 home runs, 17 RBIs and has scored 8 times.
