Halberds Come Up Short at Calgary
The Calgary Lynx eked out a 3-2 win versus the Alloway Halberds at Lynx Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Rafael González, who captured player of the game honors. Lorenzo Díaz earned the save for Calgary, his 1st of the year. The Lynx go to 8-21, putting them last in the Silver AAA.

Phil van Oosterom had a key at-bat with no one out in the bottom of the third for Calgary. With the bases loaded and the Lynx leading 2-0, he grounded out, driving in 1 run.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," González said.
