Halberds Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Drummers
The Alloway Halberds got a stellar performance from pitcher Ralph Minor, who handcuffed the Tortolita offense en route to a 4-1 win at Ballpark of Alloway. Chun-yeong Byung-Ho closed the game out for Alloway, earning his 4th save. The Drummers fall to 8-12 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2040 season.

The Halberds grabbed the lead in the bottom of the fifth. With no one out, Brenton Winston hit a solo home run off Risto Hannila, putting Alloway in front, 3-1. For Winston, it was his 1st home run of the season.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Winston told reporters after the game.
