Baton Rouge starter Mike Donovan pitched effectively against the Port Royal Disaster at Ballpark of Port Royal. The right-hander led his team to a 7-5 win. Donovan, now 4-4, was the winner. Sean Wallace had a chance to do some damage in the bottom of the eighth. With Port Royal trailing 7-2, Port Royal had runners on 2nd and 3rd. Wallace hit a sacrifice fly. But it was not enough. Port Royal would not finish the comeback.
