The Alloway Halberds picked up a win at Fog Park, knocking off the Sunset District Fog, 3-1. On the mound for Alloway was right-hander Jack Joyner, who played a pivotal role in the win. Napoleon Vitagliano finished the game for Alloway and earned his 1st save. The loss lowers the Sunset District record to 5-5.

Carlos Garza helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring single to give Alloway a 1-0 lead.

"It's good to win," Garza told the Alloway Chronicle. "I like to have fun doing it."
