Port Royal Disaster starter José Blanco was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Sacramento Redlegs, 5-2. Blanco got the win, improving to 8-1. He allowed 7 hits and walked 3 over 6 innings. Blanco allowed 2 earned runs. Felipe Deleón picked up the save, his 7th.

In the bottom of the 6th, catcher Sean Wallace gave Port Royal the lead when he hit a 3-run home run. The Disaster had been trailing 2-1, but the two-out home run off Sacramento pitcher Tim Owens changed that -- and Port Royal went on to win.

"We did a lot of things right," said Wallace.

The 8th-place Redlegs have dropped 4 straight games.
