Bloomington Longnecks starter César González pitched a strong game against the Jersey City Tritons at Lookouts Ballpark, leading the Longnecks to a 7-2 win. Bloomington currently is in 4th place in the Premier AAA at 52-40.

The Longnecks grabbed the lead in the bottom of the fifth. With two out, Jeff Solís, the 17th overall pick in the 2033 draft, hit a 2-run home run off Maru Pao Pao, putting Bloomington in front, 4-1. For Solís, it was his 3rd home run of the season.

"We did a lot of things right," said Solís.
