Riley Walker did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Texas Bronze Sox from losing, 7-6, to the Sacramento Redlegs at Bronze Sox Park. Walker belted 2 home runs. Broderick Evans locked down his 5th save. Sacramento is now 41-50.

The result might have been different for Sacramento, had it not been for Edgar Balerio. The right fielder produced a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Redlegs ahead, 7-5. For the game, Balerio had 1 double and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
