Extra-Inning Win by Golden Cranes over Disaster
Port Royal designated hitter Anson Darrah had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Darrah went 4 for 6 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once, even as Santa Barbara beat the Disaster, 10-5. Darrah was named the player of the game despite the loss. The Golden Cranes' win now puts them at 53-33.

The result might have been different for Santa Barbara, had it not been for Ronald Comejo, the 32-year old third baseman . Comejo stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put Santa Barbara up, 6-5. For the game, he had 1 double and 1 single in 6 at-bats.

"I'm not out there for personal accomplishments," Comejo told a Santa Barbara Daily News reporter after the game. "I'm out there to help the team win, and that's what we did today."
