Bloomington right fielder Ichiyo Kiyomizu made his presence felt in the 9-1 Longnecks triumph over the Baton Rouge Brass. Kiyomizu hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Bloomington's record now stands at 48-35, placing them 4th in the Premier AAA.

Kiyomizu put Bloomington up, 3-0, when he hit a 2-run home run off Mike Donovan in the bottom of the third. His 3rd home run of the season helped the Longnecks capture the win.

"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Kiyomizu told the Bloomington Daily.
