Disaster Topple Bronze Sox with Late Rally
The Port Royal Disaster got a stellar effort from pitcher Dan Bond, helping Port Royal score a 3-2 win over the visiting Texas Bronze Sox. The winner was Joe Louter in relief. His record improves to 5-3. Roberto Muñóz took the loss. Rafael Rivera picked up the save for Port Royal, his 4th of the year.

Tomás Martí tagged a home run off Shusaku Kobayashi in the bottom of the eighth. His 3-run blast put the Disaster on top, 3-0. In all, Martí had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Port Royal manager Harris Bailey. "It's usually not just one thing."

The Disaster raised their record to 41-40.
