The Scranton Supernovas downed the Vermont Lake Monsters, 8-7, at Monster Field. The Supernovas were led by Raoul de Gilde, who captured player of the game honors. He belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Ales Kretky earned the save for Scranton, his 2nd. The loss drops Vermont to 0-2.

Ken Norris, the 29th overall pick in the 2035 draft, aided the Scranton cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth. For the game, the right fielder went 1-4.
