The Baton Rouge Brass and Bloomington Longnecks were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd at Brass Field.

Bloomington beat Baton Rouge on the strength of starter Augusto Durán's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 6-0 win. Durán picked up the win for Bloomington, going 5.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 2-3. Salvador Sagastizabal, credited with the save, is now 2 for 2 in save opportunities.

Eugene Bowman, the 32nd overall pick in the 2036 draft, contributed to the Bloomington win with a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 4 RBI.
