Alaskan third baseman Wally Briggs had 5 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Port Royal Disaster, 9-4. Alaskan has now won 11 straight.

Alaskan took a 9-4 lead on Briggs's 2nd home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Felipe Deleón in the top of the eighth, propelled Alaskan to the win.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Briggs told the Alaskan Times. "It's as simple as that."
