Shuckers Bridle Blue Sox, 4-2
|
Joe Gram was instrumental in his team's 4-2 triumph over the Irving Blue Sox. The left fielder was 2 for 3 with a triple and a walk. He scored 2 times for the Biloxi Shuckers. Biloxi reliever José Stanley picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Donnie Rawling took the loss. Biloxi is 5th in the Silver AA with a record of 15-17.
The Shuckers got a lift from second baseman Roy Osmond who had a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth inning off Donnie Rawling. It was his 10th RBI of the season and put Biloxi in front, 3-2.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Biloxi manager César Navejar.
