Disaster Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Golden Cranes
The Disaster faced a stiff challenge from Santa Barbara pitcher Tom McKee, but persevered to claim a win at Crane Field. The final score was 4-3. McKee went 7 innings and allowed 4 earned runs. Felipe Deleón sewed up the save, his 5th. Port Royal is now 33-33.

Port Royal used the timely hitting of Steve Bock to capture the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Disaster on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but he made it count.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Santa Barbara manager Will Thomas. "The effort was great."
