Bloomington Longnecks starter Richard Arnie was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Bakersfield Nobles, 4-2. Omara Moctar closed the door for Bloomington, picking up his 3rd save of the year. The Longnecks have an impressive 33-18 record.
Sinclair Bothof, the Bloomington right fielder, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth inning to make the score 4-2, Longnecks. For the game, Bothof was 1 for 3.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Bloomington manager Coy Knight.
