Espinar Excels, But Brass Win

Port Royal second baseman Jaime Espinar had a good game, even if his team did not. The Disaster dropped a 11-6 decision to Baton Rouge at Ballpark of Port Royal. Espinar went 4 for 5 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. David Flowers earned the save, his 11th, for the Brass. With the win, Baton Rouge has a record of 23-25. Port Royal falls to 24-24.
Baton Rouge first baseman Lawrence Stokes helped his team take an early lead. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
