Another game, another loss for the struggling Syracuse Starks.

Corey Ollerton left his imprint on the 7-2 Bakersfield win against the Syracuse Starks. Ollerton, who is tied for 7th in the PAAA with a .486 slugging percentage, was 3 for 4 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Turner Shamburger picked up the save for Bakersfield, his 3rd of the year.

Ollerton had an important at-bat with a runner on 1st in the top of the second, when he hit a run-scoring triple. The Nobles went on to win.

Ollerton called the win "a collective effort."
