Texas starter Roberto Muńóz pitched effectively against the Sacramento Redlegs at Sacramento Sanitation Station. The left-hander led his team to a 6-3 win. The save went to Kliment Spirk, his 6th this season. Even with the win, the Bronze Sox have a dismal 13-31 record.

Breanainn Swartwood had a key at-bat with two out in the top of the eighth for Texas. With the bases loaded and the Bronze Sox leading 4-3, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"Roberto's tempo and rhythm were good," said Bronze Sox manager Wynn Burton. "He was the key to us winning."
