The Farmers grabbed a win, 3-2, at Farmers Field, overcoming a fine effort from Akron pitcher Forest Bell. Bell went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Lancaster reliever Juan Santos was credited with the win, to go to 1-2. Wiley Washington took the loss for Akron. Lancaster is 5th in the Silver AA with a record of 11-11.

Pablo Saavedra was the walk-off hero for Lancaster. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Farmers third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This place sure got loud," said Dylan Smith, the Lancaster manager.
