Benefiting from John Mast's productive game, the Yakima Hops downed the Lancaster Farmers, 10-3. Mast went 2 for 4 with a triple and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for the Hops. Mario Herrera got the win, improving to 1-2. He held the Farmers to 3 earned runs on 6 hits over 7.2 innings, while striking out 2 and walking 1. The win pushes Yakima to a record of 9-11.

Mast contributed a big hit, a 2-run triple, for Yakima in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 2-1, Mast took a fastball from Cristóbal López and stroked the triple to left-center. His 1st triple of the season allowed the Hops to leap in front, 3-2.
