Bloomington Makes It 8 Straight with 5-4 Win
|
Bloomington Longnecks starter Richard Arnie pitched a strong game against the Syracuse Starks at Lookouts Ballpark, leading the Longnecks to a 5-4 win. The losses continue to mount for Syracuse, which has now dropped 9 in a row.
Bloomington took a 5-4 lead on David Milliken's 41st hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Milliken hit in the bottom of the 11th, left Syracuse pitcher Tony Wolfe shaking his head.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Arnie.
