The Lancaster Farmers coasted to a win over the Yakima Hops, 10-3. Pablo Saavedra had a good day at the plate for Lancaster. He went 2-2 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Curt Pless got the win, improving to 2-1. He worked 5.1 innings, giving up 3 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 6. The Hops fall to 8-11 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2040 season.

Lancaster relied on the hitting of Senthamilselvi Manohoran to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Farmers on top, 5-1. For the game, Manohoran had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
