Golden Cranes Turn Back Sacramento, 3-1
|
Santa Barbara starter Arturo Guerrero put a stranglehold on the Sacramento offense. The right-hander had complete command of his curveball in leading the Golden Cranes to a 3-1 win. Guerrero picked up the win for Santa Barbara, going 5.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 7-1. Santa Barbara leads the Premier AAA by 4 games.
Santa Barbara took control in the top of the sixth. With one out and the bases empty, Braxton Cottongame hit a solo home run to make it 1-0, Golden Cranes.
