The Bloomington Longnecks overcame a good performance by Baton Rouge center fielder Weston Doyle to knock off Baton Rouge, 8-7, at Lookouts Ballpark. Doyle was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Alexander Weareorwear earned his 1st save in 1 tries. Bloomington currently is in 5th place in the Premier AAA at 20-15.

Brock Waxley took Itsa Sandwich deep in the bottom of the third. His grand slam home run put the Longnecks on top, 7-3. In all, Waxley had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
