Clark gets 5 RBI, Golden Cranes Move to 26-9
|
A 5-RBI performance from designated hitter Lewis N. Clark, who is tied for 10th in the PAAA in doubles with 8, led the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes to a 6-1 win over the Bakersfield Nobles. Santa Barbara leads the Premier AAA by 4 games.
Santa Barbara took a 5-1 lead on Clark's 8th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Jaganmani Vivek in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Santa Barbara to the win.
"We took advantage of our opportunities," Clark told the Santa Barbara Daily News. "It's as simple as that."
