Losing Streak Continues for Bronze Sox with 4-3 Loss to Humpbacks
Fans who came to Sea World watched the Alaskan Humpbacks and the Texas Bronze Sox fight to the finish.

The Alaskan Humpbacks did just enough to secure a 4-3 victory over the Texas Bronze Sox at Sea World. Nobody did more than pitcher Ricardo Martínez, who captured player of the game honors. Dave Lawson, credited with the win, is now 3-2. He allowed 2 runs on 4 hits in 4 innings.

Bobby McFillin aided the Alaskan cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the second. For the game, the catcher went 1 for 3. He drove in 2 runs.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Martínez.

Texas is in the throes of a 10-game losing streak.
