Alaskan Wins, Risinger hits 2nd home run
|
A 4-RBI performance from the 22-year old shortstop Abel Risinger helped the Alaskan Humpbacks beat the Port Royal Disaster, 5-3. Alaskan reliever Júlio Valenzuela picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Andrei-Luiz Frial absorbed the loss. Alaskan is now 18-14.
The game was all tied up in the bottom of the eighth, until Risinger delivered big-time for Alaskan, stroking a dramatic run-scoring double off Andrei-Luiz Frial. The game-changing hit put the Humpbacks on top, 4-3.
"My job is to go out and play as hard as I can for the Humpbacks," said Risinger.
