The Lancaster Farmers topped the Durham Rapiers, 8-5, in USSL Double A action at Rapiers Ballpark. The player of the game was Lancaster pitcher and North Tonawanda, New York native Curt Pless. The win gives the Farmers a record of 8-6.

The Farmers got a big at-bat from shortstop Junya Furuya. For the game, Furuya went 3 for 5 with a triple and a double, while scoring 2 runs. In the top of the third, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Lancaster a 1-0 lead.
