Bojórquez Shines in Redlegs Win
The Baton Rouge Brass and Sacramento Redlegs brought some excitement to Sacramento Sanitation Station.

Víctor Bojórquez was instrumental in his team's 9-4 triumph over the Baton Rouge Brass. The first baseman went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the Sacramento Redlegs. Luis Varela got the win, improving to 2-3. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 6 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 8 and walking 1.

Bojórquez went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 against the Brass. In the bottom of the first inning, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run that scored 1 and put Sacramento in front, 1-0.

"We came out aggressive," said Redlegs manager Rich Hunter. "We came out swinging the bats."

Sacramento is in 8th place in the Premier AAA with a record of 9-15.
