White Walkers Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Patriots
Buffalo and Boston duked it out at Beyond the Wall and the White Walkers came out victorious.

Boston second baseman Roland Deschain was sensational. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Buffalo beat the Patriots, 7-5. Deschain was named the player of the game despite the loss. Buffalo reliever Jorge Villanueva picked up the win to move to 1-0. Jorge Gil suffered the loss. Kenji Aoki recorded his 1st save for Buffalo.

Luis Tañón took Jorge Gil deep in the bottom of the eighth. His 2-run home run put the White Walkers on top, 7-5. In all, Tañón had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

When asked about his performance after the game, Tañón said: "Like everyone else, I'm just doing my job."

Things have gone south in a hurry for the defending champion White Walkers, who notched only their 2nd win in 5 games.
