Behind a solid performance from first baseman Surender Nada, the Bloomington Longnecks defeated the Jersey City Tritons, 6-3. Nada went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Longnecks. Salvador Sagastizabal was the winner. Over 6.2 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 8 hits, with 1 walk and 5 strikeouts. Losses have been few and far between for the Tritons, who are now 14-5.

Nada had a key at-bat for Bloomington early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and gave Bloomington an early 3-0 lead.
