Big Day for Hartman as Loons Down Rapiers, 7-4

The Minnesota Loons bested the Durham Rapiers, 7-4, at Loony Bin. Elroy Hartman was named player of the game. He went 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Minnesota reliever Haweeyo Nasteexo got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Jyotibhasin Kodi was tagged with the loss. Minnesota is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 3rd in 8 games.
Minnesota took a 7-4 lead on Paul Sanders's 1st double of the season. The 2-run double, which Sanders hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Durham pitcher Jyotibhasin Kodi visibly frustrated.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Sanders.
