The Augusta Timber Hawks topped the Athletic Club KC Reserves, 5-3, in M3L Triple A action at KC Reserve Stadium. The player of the game was Augusta shortstop Li-ren Ku. Reliever Elliot Rickard picked up the win. His record improves to 3-0. Ian Airy took the loss. Randy Gabaldon, credited with the save, is now 5 for 7 in save opportunities.

Augusta used the timely hitting of Roger Snodgrass to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Timber Hawks on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Snodgrass told the Augusta Gazette: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."
