White Walkers Stumble, Lose to Patriots
|
The Boston Patriots downed the Buffalo White Walkers, 8-4, at Dunkin Donuts Park. Jon Osterman led the way, going 2-for-4 for Boston. Bradley Roth, credited with the win, is now 3-1. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3 innings. The Patriots improved to a lofty 26-11.
Jason Graham had a big 2-run double for the Patriots in the bottom of the third inning. With Boston leading 4-3 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Juan Guillén and stroked the double to right. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Patriots ahead, 6-3.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Osterman.
