Buzz Best Flyers in Pitching Duel
|
Salt Lake City and Pennsauken played a hard-fought contest at Pennsauken Park.
Salt Lake City Buzz starter Emerson Horton was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Pennsauken Flyers, 2-1. The second-place Buzz improved to 36-22.
It could have been a different outcome for Salt Lake City, had it not been for Kel Warren, the 26-year old catcher . Warren contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the sixth inning to put Salt Lake City up, 2-0.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Horton said.
