Coyotes Come Up Short at Milton
|
It was a fun time at Milton Corner Tavern, where the Hamilton Coyotes and Milton Dogfish Head tangled.
The Milton Dogfish Head topped the Hamilton Coyotes, 6-5, with left fielder Oasiz Wiesblatt playing a big role. Wiesblatt was 4 for 5 with 4 singles for the Dogfish Head in the win. Larcena Pennington, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save.
Ji-e Loh contributed to the Milton win with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
Loh expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
The 9th-place Dogfish Head raised their record to 18-24.
