Victory Over Flyers Takes Salt Lake City to 12-7
It was a fun time at Spirits Stadium, where the Pennsauken Flyers and Salt Lake City Buzz tangled.

The Salt Lake City Buzz defeated the Pennsauken Flyers, 13-5. Earning player of the game honors was second baseman Antoine Studdard, who went 3-4 with 3 doubles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The winner was Liam Bane, who threw 96 pitches over 7 innings. The right-hander was charged with 5 runs on 8 hits.

The Flyers had been locked in a 3-3 tie with the Buzz going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 34-year old center fielder Bob Daugherty came to the plate. Daugherty hit a grand slam home run on a 0-1 splitter from Pennsauken hurler Tim Tate. It was Daugherty's 4th home run of the year.

"We maximized our offense today," said Salt Lake City skipper Greg Keys. "That makes everyone's life easier."
