Fighting Dachsunds Lose, 5-0, at Pennsauken Park
|
The Pennsauken Flyers got a stellar performance from pitcher Al Gagne, who handcuffed the Ellenburg offense en route to a 5-0 win at Pennsauken Park. César Manoel picked up the save, his 1st. Ellenburg, at 4-12, is off to a poor start in 2040.
Bras Castanheta, who is tied for 5th in the 3AAA with a .661 slugging percentage, aided the Pennsauken cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first. For the game, the third baseman drew 1 walk.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Castanheta.
