Seattle starter Iván Vázquez pitched effectively against the Kingston Township Knights at Boeing Dome. The right-hander led his team to a 5-1 win. The win gives Seattle a record of 7-7.

Seattle second baseman Jurgen Flurgenburgen contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two down, he hit a cutter into left field for a 2-run single. It was his 19th hit of the season and put the Rocketeers ahead, 2-0.

"Enjoyed this one," Flurgenburgen told the Seattle Today. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
