White Walkers Get 4-2 Win Versus Portland
Buffalo rode a good effort from starter Zhao-ji Qiu to beat the Portland Evergreens at Evergreen Park. The final score was 4-2. Kenji Aoki was credited with the save for Buffalo, his 9th of the season. At 14-9, Buffalo is in second place in the Premier League.

The White Walkers grabbed the lead in the top of the second. With two out, Tom Smythe hit a solo home run off Cristián Moreno, putting Buffalo in front, 2-0. For Smythe, it was his 2nd home run of the season.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Buffalo manager Chris Lau. "It's usually not just one thing."
