Victory Pushes Browns Record to 72-35

Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Meester Gobbles-Rooster, the Cleveland Browns defeated the Oakland Oaks, 3-0. Gobbles-Rooster was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Browns. The win was Eric Matson's in relief. His record improves to 8-0. Sake Bravenboer took the loss for Oakland. The first-place Browns have won 7 straight games.
